Wade Blowers

Wade has spent his professional career in Agri-business, with most of this time working for cooperatives. These have ranged from local to regional to national in size.

The start of his professional career was spent in crop input sales and consulting with farms. He has always had a passion for finding ways to help farmers produce the best crop possible while improving the return on the acre for his customers.

His career progressed into leadership and management where he was the Chief Operating Officer for a cooperative in West Michigan. He provided a strong background in operational and sales leadership for the agricultural business segments of Agronomy, Grain and Feed Manufacturing. He was also responsible and accountable for budgeting and meeting P&L targets for margins, expenses, inventory management and return on invested capital. He also has had responsibility for project management on capital projects with accountability to stay on budget with projects as large as $18 Million.

Through his career, Wade has always continued to develop strategies and have a focus on what brings the most value to the customers and owners of the cooperative. A big part of this was done both individually and by developing and empowering team members so the company was aligned to be successful in serving customer needs. He worked through several merger and acquisition transactions during his time in leadership, always focusing on the greatest mutual benefit for all parties involved.

Wade earned a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy from the University of Minnesota. While working full-time, he continued his formal education by earning an Executive Master of Business Administration in Food and Agribusiness from Purdue Krannert School of Management.
