Jim Krol
Jim Krol is a collaborative leader and business professional with 36 years of experience in finance, business planning, operations, distribution, credit, and customer service. During his successful 32-year stint with a Fortune 500 company, Jim earned increasingly challenging responsibilities.
After working in public accounting for a few years as a staff auditor, Jim continued his career at Herman Miller, Inc. His assignments there included roles in audit, accounts payable, credit services, valuation, and consulting for HMI dealerships. Most recently, Jim worked with both internal and external customers as Director of Credit and Product Services. While his experience is broad, Jim’s expertise lies in financial practices, creating sound financial strategies, and working with teams to accomplish short- and long-term goals. Reducing receivables, and continuously improving payment processes are enjoyable tasks for Jim!
Jim is eager to take his career experience and, through learned wisdom and best practices, help organizations and their leaders reach their full potential. His financial skills are simply the means by which he engages in both individual relationship and team building.
Jim graduated from Ferris State College with a degree in accounting, earned his CPA license while working full-time, and is a member of the AICPA & MICPA.
